Soldier Killed in Monday Accident Identified
Spc. Christian Bush was killed Monday in a motorcycle accident.
The soldier killed early Monday in a motorcycle accident on post has been identified, according to a Fort Stewart press release. Spc. Christian Bush, 22, was killed just after midnight Monday in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 119 near the NCO Academy. Bush was an armor tank crewman with the 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, according to the release. He enlisted in 2011 and arrived at Fort Stewart in September. Though investigation into the accident is still ongoing, initial reports indicate that Bush's motorcycle was struck by a car that was passing two other vehicles, one a pickup truck.
