Car Allegedly Stolen in Hinesville Found Burned in Riceboro
Hinesville police were contacted by their counterparts in Riceboro Friday after a burning car was discovered in that town.
A vehicle allegedly stolen from a Hinesville couple was discovered burning in Riceboro Friday, according to police reports. On Friday, Hinesville police were dispatched to a home on Teal Court to speak with the owners of the vehicle after Riceboro police discovered it abandoned and burning on that city's Barrington Ferry Road. Hinesville police first went to the victims' house at about 4 a.m. but could not make contact with them. The victims, a married couple, called back about an hour later wanting to report their vehicle stolen, according to the report.
