March Madness 2013: Your Printable Bracket

March Madness is upon us as the annual NCAA Division I men's college basketball tournament got under way Tuesday, and it wouldn't be March Madness without the bracket. Player from Hinesville to Partake in March Madness

Rion Brown, a guard for the Miami Hurricanes, is one of several Georgia players hoping to reach the Final Four in Atlanta this year.

March Madness is here, and although no Georgia schools are in the 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament brackets, there will be a distinct Peach flavor on the road to the Final Four. Better yet, Hinesville's own Rion Brown, a guard for Miami, will be part of the show. The Final Four returns to Atlanta — scheduled April 6 and 8 — for the fourth time in history. Atlanta hosted the final rounds in 1977, 2002 and 2007. The Division II and III championship games are April 7 at Philips Arena. -- Who's gonna take it all? Army Marksmanship Unit Hosts Junior Air Rifle Championship

Fort Benning's U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit hosted more than 870 shooters from 22 states recently during the U.S. Army National Junior Air Rifle Championship.

Army News Service FORT BENNING, Ga. -- The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit hosted the 2013 U.S. Army National Junior Air Rifle Championship Feb. 25-27 at the unit's Pool Indoor Range. Hosting the championship fosters junior participation in prestigious state and national rifle competitions, promotes firearms safety, and connects the youngsters with the expertise and professionalism of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, or USAMU. Army Sweeps Cross Country Championships

All-Army men's, women's teams dominate

Army News Service SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program runner Spc. Robert Cheseret and Capt. Kelly Calway led the All-Army men's and women's teams to the 2013 Armed Forces Cross Country Championships Feb. 3 at Forest Park in St. Louis. On a cold winter day, Cheseret completed the slippery 12-kilometer course in 36 minutes, 44.1 seconds to win the Armed Forces men's gold medal. He finished 17th overall in the race that was run in conjunction with the 2013 USA Cross Country Championships. World Class Athlete Program, or WCAP, runners Spc. Thousands of pies were delivered to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan Jan. 21, thanks to retired Air Force Master Sgt. Mark Evans, who started 'Pizza 4 Patriots' in July 2008. Hinesville School Wins Nationwide Contest

First Presbyterian Christian Academy beat out schools across the country to win $140,000 worth of uniforms and athletic apparel for its sports teams.

Hinesville's First Presbyterian Christian Academy has won Under Armour's nationwide "Finding Undeniable" contest, earning $140,000 worth of athletic apparel and accessories, according to the contest website. The contest aimed to find the school with the most commitment and heart, according to the website. Schools garnered votes on Facebook and completed challenges ranging from sending in a photo of the school trophy case to having school bands perform original songs. FPCA was one of the smallest schools in the competition, with only 340 students when it earned a wild card slot in the contest in late 2011. The school currently has only about 100 students.
