DESCRIPTION:A workshop titled Outdoor Photography for Beginning Digital S
 LR Photographers arrives at Skidaway Island State Park in June 2012 that
  will help new digital SLR photographers demystify camera settings.\nGeo
 rgia photographer\, Jackie DeBusk\, who was awarded and completed a 2012
  Artist-in-Residence with South Carolina State Parks\, will conduct the 
 workshop twice on Saturday\, June 16\, 2012 at the Skidaway Island State
  Park Group Shelter. The morning session is from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  and the afternoon session is from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.\nJoin DeBusk a
 nd allow her to provide technical terms in easy-to-understand language. 
 Within a few hours\, participants will become capable of making sound ex
 posure\, metering\, and focus area settings on their digital SLR cameras
 \, as well as they will learn to applycreative composition principles. A
 ttendees will discover how to set white balance and how to use a histogr
 am\, also.\nThe workshop includes 3 hours of instruction with a visual p
 resentation\, hands-on activities\, and a bookletto keep. After the less
 ons\, participants head out into the park to apply their newfound knowle
 dge and skills. The park offers a chance to practice shootingflora\, fau
 na\, landscapes\, and waterscapes.\nPre-registering and pre-paying are r
