Police Investigating Savannah Shooting Death
A Savannah man was found dead in his home Saturday
Savannah police are investigating the shooting death of a 40-year-old man, according to an Associated Press report.
On Saturday, police went to the East 54th Street home of Milton Moffett, 40, after a neighbor called to ask that they check on Moffett's welfare, according to a WTOC report. Upon arrival, police found Moffett dead in his home.
No arrests have been reported, according to the AP. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are asking anyone with information on the crime to contact the CrimeStoppers hotline at 912-234-2020 or text a tip to CRIMES (274637) and include "CStop2020" in the body of the text. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and may qualify for a reward.
