Hinesville Police Seek Man who Robbed Novelty Store

Suspect robbed store at gunpoint, police say

 

Hinesville police are looking for a man who robbed a local novelty shop Thursday, according to a WSAV report.

Police say the man held up Sunset Novelties, 809 Willowbrook Drive, taking cash and the store phone.

According to WSAV, the man asked the store clerk to change a $20 bill. While the clerk had the register open, the man produced a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect was described as about 6'5" tall, with a muscular build and dark skin. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black basketball shorts, a hat and sunglasses.
