The 2012 Wild Hog Competition is running now through Dec. 31 and registration to join the event is open through Dec. 28.

Participants must be valid permit holders and the competition entry fee is $5. Hogs may not be turned in until 48 hours after a participant is registered. Winners will receive $250.

Contest will be judged based on number of hogs harvested during unmanaged hunts on FS & HAAF. All hogs must be submitted at the Pass & Permit office or at the Fish & Wildlife office on Ft. Stewart.
